Our client is seeking a Payroll Accountant with Workday Experience for a 6-month remote contract overseeing all aspects of payroll and employee benefit processing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while maintaining accurate financial records within an integrated payroll and accounting system.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant, preferably with integrated payroll and accounting systems
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles, practices, and relevant legislation
- Proficient in Google Workspace and other relevant software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Workday experience, knowledge of Pennsylvania local tax regulations
