Remote Senior Financial Analyst
MUST RESIDE IN OREGON OR WASHINGTON STATE
HealthCare Support is currently seeking a Remote Senior Financial Analyst to fill an opening with a leading healthcare organization.
The ideal candidate will have the following requirements for Remote Senior Financial Analyst
Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a highly quantitative field of study
- 5 years of experience in data analysis
- Experience with budgeting and reporting
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration
- 2 years' healthcare related experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Key Functions/Responsibilities:
Team Support: They work as part of a team that focuses on a specific area within the health plan and provides financial expertise to that team. They also collaborate with local ministry teams, likely to ensure financial goals are met.
Understanding and Reporting Trends: They look at the money-related aspects of how the organization is doing and report on what they find. This includes understanding and explaining important financial and business trends.
Data Collection and Analysis: They gather, research, and organize financial and operational data to create monthly financial reports. They also analyze the data to understand any variations from expectations and trends over time.
Advanced Work: They do more complex tasks that require a deep understanding of financial matters. They might also help and train less experienced analysts.
Supporting Larger Teams: They may work with bigger teams or on projects that are more complicated in terms of financial analysis.
