JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Development Director

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary:
The Development Director will be responsible for fostering strong connections between the clinic and the communities we serve, as well as developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support the clinic's operations and expansion. This individual will be a key link between the clinic and its stakeholders, including patients, donors, volunteers, and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement:
Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community, patients, and healthcare partners.
Represent the clinic at community events, meetings, and public forums to raise awareness and foster support.
Fundraising Strategy:
Develop and execute fundraising strategies to meet the clinic's financial needs, including annual campaigns, grant applications, and events.
Collaborate with the executive team to set fundraising goals and track progress.
Donor Cultivation:
Continue to cultivate strong relationships with current donors.
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, foundations, and sponsors.
Create and maintain a donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Events and Campaigns:
Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, including but not limited to, galas, charity runs, and online campaigns.
Develop and manage marketing materials for fundraising activities.
Community Education:
Develop educational materials to inform the community about the clinic's services and mission.
Coordinate outreach and educational programs in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular reports on fundraising performance, community engagement, and donor relationships.
Analyze data to make informed decisions on fundraising and community engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Non-Profit Management, Communications).
Proven experience in community engagement and fundraising, particularly in the non-profit sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Knowledge of fundraising best practices, grant writing, and donor stewardship.
Familiarity with donor management software.

Salary- $60,000- $70,000 with bonus potential
