Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) – Multi-State Licensed

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead our independent pharmacy located in Boynton Beach, FL. This is a key leadership role responsible for regulatory compliance, pharmacy operations, and oversight of all dispensing activities. You’ll work closely with ownership and staff to support multi-state fulfillment, primarily focused on chronic condition and diabetic supply patients.

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge for our Florida-licensed community pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and all applicable regulations.
• Oversee multi-state mail-order operations and non-resident pharmacy license requirements.
• Manage and support pharmacy technicians and customer service staff.
• Verify prescriptions, monitor drug interactions, and counsel patients as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate controlled substance inventories and ensure DEA compliance.
• Collaborate with PBMs and insurance plans during credentialing and audits.
• Implement and optimize SOPs and prescription workflows with support from ownership.

• Active Florida Pharmacist License (required).
• Multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain it (strongly preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience, ideally in independent or mail-order settings.
• Prior experience as PIC or Pharmacy Manager preferred.
• Proficiency in pharmacy systems such as QS/1, PioneerRx, or similar.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with a detail-focused mindset.
