Medical Receptionist/Front Office

Medical Front Desk Job Responsibilities:
- Professionally greet and assist providers, staff, visitors and patients in person, over the phone and via email.
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all provider, staff and patient information.
- Schedule appointments between providers and patients.
- Complete accurate documentation of patient visits as required.
- Collect credit card and cash payments from customers and patients.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs.
- Helping to clean/troubleshoot issues for walk-in patients (will train).
- Assist with outreach events.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a Medical Receptionist role.
- The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD and CPT coding.
Work Hours are 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Pay is every other week with a starting range of $19-$21 per hour depending on experience with opportunity for future increases. The person selected will need to be reliable and able to be in the office daily.
