What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Start Teacher position at Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers?
Heartfelt Impressions is seeking a reliable early childhood educator for the morning shift. As the Before School Teacher, you will interact with school age children in grades K-5 and greet them and their parents in the morning. You will be responsible for the care of our students who attend Heartfelt before their normal school day. In this role, you will provide a safe welcoming classroom for the students and provide encouragement that allows them to increase their learning potential. We encourage outside time as much as possible, while maintaining safety and active supervision. Our goal is to create a respectful, safe, trusting, team-oriented environment for all staff and children.
SHIFT DETAIL:
- Part-time
- Monday – Friday 6:30am-9am
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Must possess a valid driver’s license (chauffer’s endorsement required to drive the 14-passenger bus – company reimburses cost).
- Reliable transportation
- Background Check (conducted by Heartfelt Impressions)
- CPR/First Aid Trained (can be completed after hire)
PAY RATE & BENEFITS:
$13-18 per hour*
*Additional compensation if willing to drive the 14-passenger bus (chauffeur’s license required – employer reimburses cost).

- Communicates openly with both parents and staff
- Provides active supervision at all times
- Activity planning (indoor and outdoor)
- Helping children with homework assignments, conflict resolution and other classroom interactions
- Feeding the children their breakfast meal
- Building respectful relationships in the classroom
- Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
- Attend Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
