IHS Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals . The Specialist will work closely with clients in home and community settings, ensuring their needs are met while promoting independence and well-being. This position requires a strong understanding of person centered, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and knowledge of healthy boundaries.

Duties

• Provide direct support to individuals with a diverse background and diagnoses in various settings, including home and in the community.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
• Implement plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
• This position does not require personal cares.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with individuals with a diverse background, diagnoses and developmental disabilities whether it is working with kids or elders.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of care.
• Knowledge and understanding of Professional boundaries.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of those you serve.
• Must have DL, Insurance, Reliable Transportation
• Be able to pass a Background through DHS.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
