Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health and counseling, with a focus on providing support to individuals facing various challenges. This role is in-office with some flexibility.
Duties
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide clinical counseling services, including crisis intervention and support for individuals dealing with addiction, trauma, or mental health issues.
- Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and Motivational Interviewing strategies to facilitate client progress.
- Engage in child and family counseling sessions, addressing issues related to special education and autism.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives as needed to enhance service delivery and contribute to the field.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or training in the following areas:
- An unrestricted active registered license in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LCSW-A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician (LCMHC, LCMHC-A)
- Working with individuals living with mental illness and/or substance use disorder
- Counseling related to gender issues.
- Clinical research methodologies.
- Special education practices.
- Crisis intervention techniques.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) applications.
- Clinical counseling approaches tailored to diverse populations.
- Addiction counseling strategies.
- Child family counseling dynamics.
- Motivational interviewing techniques.
