Helping Hands Inc. is excited to announce an opening for the position of OMHC Clinical Director in our outpatient mental health clinic in Baltimore. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing high-quality mental health services to adults and minors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical leadership within an OMHC setting and will possess either an LCSW-C or LCPC license with board-approved supervisory status. Must have experience operating a OMHC and PRP program.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Clinical Oversight:** Supervise and support clinical staff, ensuring compliance with COMAR and HIPAA regulations while maintaining high standards of care.
- **Program Development:** Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies for the growth and effectiveness of the clinical programs, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- **Training and Mentorship:** Provide comprehensive clinical training and mentorship to staff and interns, enhancing their professional skills and development.
- **Supervision:** Conduct individual and group supervision for assigned therapists, reviewing treatment plans, clinical notes, and case management activities.
- **Policy Compliance:** Ensure adherence to CARF policies and procedures, regularly reviewing program compliance and providing guidance on best practices.
- **Communication:** Facilitate open and effective communication across multiple platforms, ensuring that staff feel supported and informed.
- **Team Building:** Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that aligns with the agency's values and promotes staff engagement and retention.
- **Crisis Management:** Provide support and guidance for staff managing crisis situations, leveraging evidence-based practices to address complex cases.
- **Administrative Duties:** Organize and manage training sessions, ensure accurate charting and documentation, and assist senior management with strategic initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education & Licensure:** Must possess an LCSW-C or LCPC license.
- **Experience:** 3 to 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on program management and staff supervision in an OMHC environment.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiar with ICANotes EHR. Strong writing skills with great attention to detail.
- **Knowledge of Regulations:** In-depth understanding of Maryland state behavioral health laws and therapy licensing requirements.
- **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- **Leadership Ability:** Proven ability to lead, mentor, and transform clinical staff into high-functioning teams, with a focus on professional development.
- **Interpersonal Skills:** Strong interpersonal skills, capable of relating to individuals from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
