A Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Medical Records Coordinator to join the team!
Medical Records Coordinator Responsibilities
Assist in organizing, planning, and directing the medical records section
Assist in recording all incidents / accidents
File all records in accordance with established policies and procedures
Collect, assemble, check, and file resident charts and personnel records as required
Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures as necessary
Retrieve medical records when requested by authorized personnel
Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary or appropriate to meet the administrative needs of the facility
Medical Records Coordinator Requirements
High school diploma or GED
COVID-19 Vaccination
Previous experience in handling medical records
Previous experience in a long-term care facility or other healthcare-related facility
