Administrative Assistant – Technology Services Industry
Location: Bellingham, WA
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected Hours: No less than 25 per week
We are a dynamic Managed Services provider seeking a highly skilled Administrative/Office Assistant to join our Bellingham office. While this role does not involve providing technical support, it does require a strong technical aptitude, a high degree of comfort with modern technology, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-evolving IT environment.
As our Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations—managing schedules, organizing digital files & documentation, coordinating communication, and helping our team stay efficient and on-task. You’ll work closely with both internal staff and external partners and should feel at home in a workplace where cloud platforms, software tools, and IT systems are core to how we operate.
This position is ideal for someone who is not intimidated by technology, detail-oriented, takes initiative and thrives in a fast-moving industry where no two days are quite the same.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to our team, including managing calendars, organizing documents, and handling internal and external communications
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and company events
- Create, update, and maintain accurate digital records and files
- Assist with purchasing, shipping, and receiving tasks
- Track and replenish office supplies as needed
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Assist with research tasks and special projects
- Support digital content tasks such as updating the company website, newsletter, and social media
- Provide general administrative assistance as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role (experience in the tech industry a plus)
- Comfortable working with cloud platforms, collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams), and learning new software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to anticipate needs and act without being prompted
- Skilled at multitasking and prioritizing competing tasks effectively
- Clean criminal history—employment contingent on successful background check
