Hempler Foods Group is growing, and we are adding a new position for bilingual Human Resources Coordinator
Wage & Benefits:
$23.00-$28.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
· Assists in the full cycle recruitment, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, phone screenings and scheduling onsite interviews.
· Conduct pre-employment checks and coordinates new hire paperwork.
· Responsible for onboarding new hires and coordinating orientation schedules.
· Assists in organizing recruitment events and employee referral programs to enhance candidate engagement and employer branding.
· Translate HR materials and communications to ensure clear understanding across a diverse workforce.
· Assist in the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
· Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
· Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
· Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
· Assists with processing of terminations.
· Assists in organizing and scheduling mandatory employee training programs
· Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
· Make photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
· Files documents into appropriate employee files.
· Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
· Prepares new employee files.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Qualifications:
· Must be bilingual: English/Spanish
· High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree is a plus)
· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
· Min 1 year previous experience in an HR environment
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Work Environment:
· This employee regularly works in an office environment.
· Ability to frequently sit, stand,
· Physical work includes climbing stairs, etc.
· Ability to handle weighting items under 25lbs or may need to move objects safely and with proper body mechanics.
· Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell
· Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
· Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
