HHM CPAs is searching for a full-time temporary Billing Assistant to help with an influx of clerical, administrative, and personnel requests during our busy tax season. This position will be full-time through the end of May, 2025.
This role is on-site in Chattanooga, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting billing team in various data entry, administrative, and clerical tasks
- Proofreading documents for formatting, grammar, and typos
- Data entry into various database systems
- Preparing envelopes to mail to clients
- Generating and preparing client invoices
- Acting as support staff for engagement letters and new client onboarding
- Diligently saving files in appropriate systems so as to ensure best record keeping practices
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a billing or equivalent function
- Ability to maintain and consistent work pace throughout the day
- Ability to manage your time appropriately
- Proficiency in modern technology tools such as MS 365
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
