Description
Hennepin County Public Health is seeking an Office Specialist III to join the Family Health Service area to support the Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) program and other family health programs. C&TC is a comprehensive preventive healthcare program provided to children and teens from birth through age 20 years who are enrolled in Medical Assistance. This position will provide administrative support to the C&TC program that furthers efficient unit operations including data entry, record keeping and document maintenance, internal and external customer support, and coordination support. This position will also provide administrative support to other Family Health area programs and services, particularly maternal and child health. This position will report directly to the C&TC supervisor.
Location and hours :
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the Human Services building located at 525 Portland Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55415 and other Human Services centers, and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.

In this position, you will :
- Input, retrieve, export, modify, and verify information and data ensuring documentation into appropriate databases; generate and verify reports from client database; handle program mailings.
- Organize and maintain program folders, update spreadsheets with outreach data, financial records, and other program record keeping and data entry.
- Interact in person, over the telephone, or electronically with clients, and internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and other county departments.
- Maintain program inventory and supplies and support maintenance of program SharePoint site and file system.
- Collaborate on special project activities and assist with various family health administrative tasks as assigned including scheduling, note taking, serve as backup to other administrative staff, onboarding coordination, and grant compliance processes.
Need to have :
Two years or more of office clerical experience.
Nice to have :
Providing customer service.
