Henry A. Petter Supply Company, LLC, is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Assistant for its Paducah, Kentucky, location. This position offers a superb work schedule that ensures a good work-life balance. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday days from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and is a part of the Marine Sales Team.
The Inside Sales Assistant provides administrative support and assistance to the Inside Sales Representatives by providing product information, prices, and availability to customers utilizing the Petter website and the Company Sales and Distribution Management System.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for maintaining account files and processing customer orders.
- Performs order entry, making sure orders are correct.
- Answers phone and directs calls for Paducah and Channelview/Geismar rollover calls.
- Assist customers with inquiries and with any issues.
- Email appropriate contacts for shipping, or any other issues with an order.
- Ensures department filing of customer orders is kept current and up to date on a daily basis.
- Performs general administrative work and any other duties assigned in order to meet business needs.
You Must Have:
- High school diploma or GED certificate, college course work a plus.
- Previous sales office experience that has developed your administrative proficiency and customer service skills.
- Computer literacy and technical skills; previous experience using Excel, Access, Word, Internet, Power Point.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
