This role leverages an advanced understanding of general business operations and existing frameworks for the design, build, and release of scalable solutions. The Sr. Developer will create and maintain custom applications, configure Salesforce CPQ solutions, integrate third-party platforms, and troubleshoot technical issues within existing code.
What You Will Do
- Design and prototype solutions, primarily on the Salesforce platform, with an emphasis on Salesforce CPQ configuration and development, utilizing Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Unit Testing
- Customize Salesforce Sales, Revenue, and Service Cloud objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, flows, CPQ-specific pricing rules, product configurations, QCP, discount schedules, guided selling, advanced approval workflows, quoting and ordering automation
- Perform and coordinate functional and unit testing both in Salesforce and integrated applications, ensuring alignment with CPQ requirements
- Manage and maintain standards for requirements gathering and documentation, particularly for CPQ-related solutions
- Research and learn new technologies and development tools to enhance CPQ and other Salesforce functionalities
Travel/Physical Demands

Qualifications
What You Will Have
- 5 years of professional development experience on the Salesforce platform with Apex, Lightning Web Components, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce CPQ preferred. Alternatively, 7 years of combined experience in Salesforce administration and development
- Understanding of Salesforce CPQ architecture, capabilities, and configuration options, including pricing methods, product bundling, subscriptions, order products, and quoting processes
- Proven experience with the Force.com developer toolkit: Lightning Component Framework, Apex, SOQL, Webservice/SOA, Metadata APIs, and Unit Testing
- Experience with core web technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML)
- Familiarity with source control and DevOps tools such as Git, GitLab, Copado, or Gearset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly for technical documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build partnerships at all levels within the organization
Nice to Haves
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Salesforce certifications: App Builder, Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce CPQ Specialist
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with other applications using REST & BULK APIs
- Experience with Salesforce Billing
- Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with iPaaS solutions such as Tibco or similar platforms.
