Overview
THE ROLE:
The Mail Services Representative I will be responsible for the receipt and proper distribution of incoming mail from Herbalife’s Torrance Operations Facility and associated properties to the appropriate parties located in the LA Live office. This position will also assist on with express shipping request, and accurately sorting the U.S.P.S. mail to the proper recipient/locations!
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
- Process daily mail drops which includes the following: sorting, routing and distributing of all incoming and outgoing mail pieces to all departments
- Responsible of logging package details for all parcel deliveries (FedEx, TNT, DHL, UPS, and others) into the Arrival Tracking System, and delivery of packages to destination.
- Responsible for processing all outgoing mail pieces using a Pitney Bowes DM1000 mail processer.
- Responsible for coordinating off-site storage request for various departments.
- Arrange and coordinate courier /messenger orders daily for all Departments.
- Interface with International and Domestic Courier Representatives, as well as internal customers.
- Process daily Express packages using the Express Shipping Computers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- 6 months – 1 year Mail Services or shipping/receiving
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
- Strong customer and results orientation
- Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
- Ability to ship internationally
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
