Sales Manager - Point Management LLC (Borealis)

Position Overview :

Point Management LLC is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for Borealis, a premier cannabis brand. This role requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the cannabis market. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and fostering a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Leadership :
  • Inspire and lead the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and margin goals.
  • Set clear expectations, provide coaching, and ensure a culture of accountability and success.

Strategic Planning :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to align with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform sales tactics.
  • Market Growth & Expansion :

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand Borealis into new markets.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales initiatives and goals.
  • Account Management :

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with retail partners, distributors, and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Team Development :

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and implement training programs to enhance skills.
  • Operational Excellence :

  • Oversee the creation and execution of proposals, contracts, and orders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records within CRM systems.
  • Event Coordination :

  • Organize and participate in retail events, pop-ups, and brand activations to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Partner with inventory and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align on overall business goals and initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring :

  • Track and report on sales metrics, market insights, and team performance.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve sales processes and outcomes.

  • Experience :
  • 8 years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry or a similar retail / CPG environment is highly preferred.
  • Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Skills :

  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting, margin analysis, and CRM systems.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and managing high-performing teams.
