Accounting Manager
Location : Topton, PA (some flexibility following 3-6 months of training)
Position Overview :

The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Corporate Controller and will have exposure to CFO and others in senior management. The Accounting Manager will oversee 4 direct reports and will have ownership of internal financial statement preparation, review and prepare monthly journal entries, monthly account reconciliations and support month-end close, assist Cost Accounting with monthly inventory accounting, coordinate annual audits, and assist with accounting systems and processes.
Position Responsibilities :
- Manage and mentor accounting staff of 4
- Lead preparation of monthly internal financial statements for management and banks
- Review and prepare journal entries and monitor monthly account reconciliations
- Assist with preparation of data for month-end close process
- Review monthly inventory and review reconciliations for variances
- Prepare monthly reports for inventory department
- Coordinate and manage documentation for annual internal audit process and communicate with external auditors
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems
- Monitor accounting pronouncements and ensure GAAP compliance
- Assist Controller and CFO with ad-hoc analysis and reporting

Compensation :
Base Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
Variable Compensation : 8-10%
