Short Description
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for problem solving and resolving large volumes of invoice holds, running and reviewing several hold reports, working and resolving Purchase Order (PO) exceptions, working urgent inquiries to resolve and pay invoices. Communicating with the branches, procurement, and suppliers to resolve invoice and PO issues. They will oversee specific large supplier accounts to ensure their invoices are being processed and paid on time. The AP Supervisor will lead the training of new employees and will be responsible for managing daily workloads of their team and consolidating any team reporting as needed. This position will oversee certain AP Processes and work directly on process improvements to help streamline those processes. The AP Supervisor will aid in team/department goal setting and will be responsible for ensuring their team is on track to meet those goals throughout the year.
Responsibilities

- Run, analysis, and work invoices on hold report daily
- Research and update supplier statements
- Outstanding credit research and recovery
- PO overbill and receiving research, problem solving, and solution
- Problem solve and resolve header invoice holds
- Work and respond to inquiries from phone calls, emails, and voice mails
- Research outstanding invoices from Inquires and resolve unpaid invoices
- Research and analyses the duplicate reports
- Key invoices for suppliers that are assigned
- Other tasks as assigned by leadership
