Heritage Bank seeks a high energy marketing communications generalist who enjoys diverse work assignments and the opportunity to help build a growing marketing department. The marketing specialist will have experience with multi-channel campaigns, print marketing materials, CRMs and events. Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage objective-driven campaigns, including key deliverables, timelines and assignments outsourced to designers, copywriters, printers, videographers and other marketing specialists.
- Manage run-the-business projects with minimal oversight, always seeking ways to work more efficiently.
- Oversee roll out of Customer Relationships Management system, work with department head and consultant on plan for optimizing value, and handle field questions about the CRM.
- Deliver solid, on brand writing for external and internal audiences as well as direction to agencies and freelancers charged with producing content.
- Manage events and key community relationships, as requested.
- Learn technical details, nuances and value propositions of bank products and services to market effectively.
- Regularly generate ideas for improving marketing operations, marketing results or customer experience aligned with bank priorities.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Two to four years of full-time experience in marketing and communications.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Familiar with fundamentals of Customer Relationship Manager systems.
- Experience working with marketing vendors, agencies and freelancers.
- Experience writing for business customers and consumers.
- Exposure to professional graphic designers and printers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and marketing technology applications. Experience with HubSpot preferred.
- Experience in managing events and sponsorships preferred.
- Experience in highly regulated industries preferred but not required.
