What you will be doing
The Campus Concierge is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and ensures a safe environment for residents, visitors, and employees across all Heritage Community of Kalamazoo (HCK) communities. Operating 24/7, the Concierge team monitors security systems, provides resident transportation, and maintains detailed documentation of events and incidents across all shifts. This role requires cooperation with various departments, creating positive first impressions through professional interactions and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of residents, facility, and organizational information.
- Serve as the campus liaison with local fire, EMS, and law enforcement agencies.
- Ensure resident safety by performing tasks like snow removal and salting entrances.
- Respond to emergency pendants, situations and calls, this may include basic CPR/AED and use of a evacuation chair.
- Assist the Homecare department as needed with Independent Living resident needs.

About you
- Michigan State Driver’s License and Chauffer’s License upon hire, (or within 30 days).
- CPR/AED certification required within 2 months of hire.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds and walking up to 5 miles per day.
- Critical thinking skills, especially in stressful situations, and the ability to make sound decisions independently.
