What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Director of Clinical Services position at Heritage Home Health and Hospice?
Heritage Home Health and Hospice is currently seeking a Director of Clinical Services for Home Health. This position requires a Registered Nurse (RN), strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, day-to-day direction of branch operations to ensure quality care and efficient operations.
Essential Functions:
- Directs and coordinates branches, and assumes responsibility for continuity, quality and safety of services delivered.
- Employs, manages and directs qualified personnel to carry out the policies and procedures of the Agency. Ensures staff education and evaluations.
- Promotes the philosophy, mission, and administrative policies of the Agency, in an effort to ensure quality of patient care.
- Monitors operational systems for efficiency and compliance with regulations and identifies problem areas to Administrator.
- Provides communication to Administrator regarding needs of the branch to include personnel needs, financial needs, professional practices, quality issues, and planning.
- May assist clinical supervisors with referrals.
- Performs staff evaluations and competencies with the assistance from clinicial supervisors.
