Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
- Monitor HVAC and plumbing systems
- Test and schedule inspections of fire protection, security, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance
- Provide regular and emergency/unscheduled repairs throughout building
- Experience in maintenance areas such as Electricity, preventative maintenance, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, vendor management and EPA
- Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents
Education / Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid WI driver’s license with a good record
- Prepare rooms for move ins/outs including repairs, paint touch-ups, and moving furniture
- Respond to work order requests and concerns from residents, families, and coworkers
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs throughout the building, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and large and small appliances
- Test and schedule inspections of fire protect systems, security systems, and plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and large and small appliances
- 1 year experience in maintenance; housing background preferred
- Basic mechanical skills to include light electrical and plumbing, (HVAC and fire sprinklers a plus)
- Ability to critically think and problem solve is a must
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 50lbs; climb ladders and stairs
