LADC Clinical Supervisor Job Description**
Overview
Heritage Treatment Link is seeking an LADC Clinical Supervisor who fulfills the criteria outlined in section 245G.11, subdivision 4. If an individual holds both the positions of Alcohol and Drug Counselor and LADC Clinical Supervisor concurrently, they will be considered a 0.5 full-time equivalent Alcohol and Drug Counselor for staffing purposes under subdivision 4.

Qualifications
- Must be a Board Approved LADC Clinical Supervisor by BBHT.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Two years of documented sobriety from problematic substance use.
- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in good standing with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
- Successful completion of a DHS Net Study 2.0 Background Study.
- Familiarity with Alcoholics Anonymous principles.
- A minimum of three years of direct service experience with individuals facing substance use challenges and at least one year of experience in the management or administration of such services.
- Demonstrated experience in administration, personnel supervision, and knowledge of community resources related to substance abuse.
- Ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- At the time of taking on the role of LADC, candidates should possess or be in training for foundational knowledge in the following areas:
- The lifestyle of the target population.
- Psychological, physiological, behavioral, and social factors related to drug abuse.
- Treatment theories and aftercare planning, including familiarity with current treatment techniques and planning.
- Relevant laws, public policies, and political issues surrounding drug abuse and treatment.
- Ethical considerations in the treatment of individuals with substance use disorders.
- Community rehabilitation resources for drug abuse.
- The program's goals, philosophy, policies, and procedures.

- An Alcohol and Drug Counselor Supervisor must:
- Meet the qualifications specified in subdivision 5 of 245G.11 for an LADC.
- Have at least three years of direct service experience with substance use issues and one year in management of such services.
- Understand the implications of Minnesota Statutes: chapters 245G, 245A, 626.557, 626.5572, and 260E.

Job Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate program activities, collaborating with other program components to ensure quality care, and advising the administrator on management, funding, budgeting, and personnel matters.
- Convene staff meetings as needed to review program progress.
- Develop and maintain formal and informal partnerships with external resources related to the program.
- Act as a member of the treatment team.
- Attend scheduled meetings and present the LADC Clinical Supervisor’s Report to the Executive Director.
- Conduct group and individual counseling sessions for assigned clients.
- Prepare and deliver educational lectures on alcohol and drug issues to the client population upon request.
- Engage in community outreach and other tasks as assigned by the owner and Executive Director.
- Participate in annual training as mandated by MN Statute 245G.
- May hold dual employment as the LADC.

Degree of Authority
The LADC Clinical Supervisor reports to the Treatment Director unless they also serve as the Treatment Director, in which case they report to the Executive Director.

Heritage Treatment Link expects the LADC Clinical Supervisor to uphold the highest standards of job performance, as detailed in the performance review criteria.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $70,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
