As an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer in HP Z Desktop Workstations, you will:
Be part of a team of electrical hardware engineers responsible for all stages of hardware design and development of computer mainboards and subsystem components
Design high speed electrical circuits such as PCIe, USB, and Thunderbolt
Optimize PCB layout and validate signal integrity
Work with the latest computer technologies
Work closely with partners from other companies and cultures
Solve our customers’ most challenging problems
Work in an exciting, high profile, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment
Are you a high-performer with passion and experience in computer hardware? We are looking for an individual with:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
0 to 7 years of professional engineering experience
Experience designing, integrating, and debugging electronic components and integrated circuitry, preferably in computer architecture
Experience using signal integrity and protocol analysis equipment to measure, troubleshoot and validate electrical circuits and interfaces
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a strong drive to reach root cause on difficult technical issues
Self-starter with strong work ethic
Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with technical and business partners
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
This is an onsite position working directly with hardware and team members at our Fort Collins, Colorado location.
There is some opportunity to work remotely, but most time will be onsite.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
