The Director of SEC Reporting & Consolidation will lead our group consolidation and external reporting process, while ensuring compliance with all SEC and U.S. GAAP regulations. This individual will be responsible for the preparation and filing of all periodic SEC reports, managing the annual and quarterly reporting processes, and coordinating with internal and external auditors. This is a high-visibility role that will interact with executive leadership and various functions across the business.

The Director of SEC Reporting & Consolidation will lead our group consolidation and external reporting process, while ensuring compliance with all SEC and U.S. GAAP regulations. This individual will be responsible for the preparation and filing of all periodic SEC reports, managing the annual and quarterly reporting processes, and coordinating with internal and external auditors. This is a high-visibility role that will interact with executive leadership and various functions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results and complete consolidations in collaboration with accounting, FP&A, Investor Relations, Legal, and other internal stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation, review, and filing of all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-8, Proxy Statement, etc.) under U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Monitor, interpret, and implement new accounting and SEC reporting standards; assess impact on the company’s financial reporting.
- Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and reporting issues.
- Oversee the preparation of technical accounting memos and support external disclosures.
- Coordinate quarterly and annual audit procedures with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance).
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and controls. Assist in earnings release preparation and support Investor Relations with financial disclosures.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; CPA or MBA highly preferred.
- Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working for a multinational, US-listed public company in the last 3 years.
- 8 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years focused on SEC reporting.
- 5 years building and leading a team
- Experience with OneStream, or other consolidations platforms is preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal control requirements (SOX).
- Understanding of software industry reporting trends
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
