Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining and preparing specimens for analysis, processing various types of specimens, and providing exceptional patient care.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain and prepare blood samples for laboratory testing ">
- Process tissue, PAP, Cytology, and blood/swab specimens for reference laboratories ">
- Enter and batch reference lab orders, print reports as assigned, and answer/route phone calls ">
- Monitor the pneumatic tube system, sort/file faxes/orders/papers, and receive specimens from outreach clinics ">
Requirements:
">To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have a minimum of 1 year of previous healthcare experience in a direct patient care related role, and be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
">Preferred Qualifications:
">Certification as a nursing assistant is preferred but not required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification is required within three months after hire date.
