Essential Job Functions
- Partner with the Area Director of Revenue Management to determine the daily rate and distribution strategy for the designated portfolio. Implement strategy across all channels, including the OTAs and internet sales efforts, and work with the Sales team to set pricing guidelines for all group bookings.
- Maintain hotel inventories to ensure the accurate and profitable balance of group, leisure, and transient room production throughout the year is maintained to ensure that budgeted goals are achieved consistently.
- Maximize RevPAR by analyzing past trends and future demand forecasts to set/adjust sales and pricing strategies as necessary.
- Make value-add recommendations to the Area Director of Revenue Management and Chief Revenue Office based on quantitative findings and expected results.
- Fill in and complete job duties for Area Director of Revenue Management during any absences.
- Consolidate and evaluate short and long term revenue forecasts and generate weekly and monthly enterprise-wide roll-ups and critiques, identifying areas of opportunity and strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability.
- Monitor, evaluate and set room rates and availability across all distribution channels in accordance with established guidelines to maximize occupancy and revenues.
- Measure, analyze and report out on booking trends, pickup, no shows, and sources of business.
- Assist in the evaluation and strategic planning of future hotel acquisitions.
- Accumulate, consolidate, and effectively present information from disparate sources to validate company strategy and maximize hotel revenues.
- Participate in all and support all aspects of the company’s revenue management processes and procedures.
- Establish and maintain meaningful external and internal relationships.
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s Earth View program.
- Practice safe work habits.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in related discipline and/or prior revenue management or business analyst experience required.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office products to format, analyze, and present large amounts of information effectively.
- Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, see, bend, reach, use hands and fingers to operate keyboard.
