HHM Talent is assisting a client search for a CFO for their dealership/family office company based in Bowling Green, KY.
This position is full time and on site.
The company will assist with relocation.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Lead and manage the financial operations of 15 dealerships and 10 corporate entities, ensuring financial integrity and accuracy across the board.
- Unusual Transactions & Acquisitions: Manage and analyze complex transactions, including real estate purchases, refinancing deals, and acquisitions/disposals.
- Financial Analysis: Oversee in-depth financial analysis and performance reviews, identifying discrepancies and ensuring accurate reporting across all entities.
- Intercompany Balances: Supervise and ensure the proper management of intercompany balances and eliminations.
- Cash and Treasury Management: Direct cash flow management and treasury operations to maintain liquidity and financial stability.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 6 employees, including the Controller, Bookkeeper, Secretary, HR Manager, and tenants within company-managed properties.
- Property Management Oversight: Address any property-related issues, such as maintenance concerns, tenant relations, and facility management (e.g., air and water systems).
Qualifications:
- Education: Must have a CPA certification.
- Experience: Experience in Accounting in overseeing complex financial transactions, acquisitions, and multi-entity operations.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities, particularly in identifying discrepancies across the General Ledger (GL). Proven experience with treasury and cash management in a decentralized business structure.
- Leadership: Previous experience in leading and managing financial teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in dealership operations, real estate management, or similar diversified business structures is a plus.
