Stahl & Associates Insurance, a Higginbotham Partner, has an immediate need for a Commercial Lines Assistant in our St. Petersburg, FL office.

This individual will work closely with Commercial Lines Account Managers, Account Executives and other members of the team to service our clients by handling the following duties:
- Issuing certificates of insurance
- Ordering MVR’s for commercial clients
- Reviewing commercial policies and endorsements for accuracy
- Updating applications in the Agency Management System
- Reviewing carrier websites to obtain applicable information pertaining to commercial accounts
- Processing incoming mail, such as policies and endorsements
- Provide primary back-up coverage for the front-desk receptionist, as needed.

Experience and Education:
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in an entry level insurance position preferred
- Experience with certificates of insurance helpful
- General knowledge of insurance terminology
Systems:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable
Licensing and Credentials:
- Active FL 4-40 or 2-20 license required (company will help candidate obtain licensure if needed)
