Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Government Law Specialist to join our team as a County Attorney. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to the Highland County Board of Supervisors and other constitutional officers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise the Board of Supervisors on matters related to local government law.
- Represent the County in court proceedings.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of the County.
Requirements:
- Current Virginia Bar license.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in local government law.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
