What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service/Project Coordinator position at Highland Roofing Company?

As a Service Coordinator, you will manage all activities related to the administration of our service department. This position works closely with the service manager and technicians to ensure all information is entered accurately and timely. What will you do?
- Review technician expense reports
- Enter service dispatches into Excel and QuickBooks
- Enter inventory adjustments into QuickBooks
- Review technician timesheets and GPS data
- Process service department invoices by reviewing and ensuring completeness and accuracy of resolved dispatches
- Review vehicle inspection reports and schedule repairs if needed
- Act as the interim manager in the absence of the service manager by dispatching crews, issuing purchase orders, and providing support to technicians throughout the day
What experience should you have?
- Data entry experience - fast and accurate
- Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Construction service industry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Excellent communication skills in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
