The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical treatment and patient support.
Responsibilities:
- Administers medications and documents care
- Collaborates with healthcare teams to meet patient needs
- Critical thinking and effective communication
- Patient advocacy and education
Key Functions:
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process
- Reports to Director of Nursing
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration and clinical treatments
- Documents patient care given
- Monitors and communicates patient condition
- Assists patients with activities of daily living
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and provides education
- Works as an advocate for patient well-being
Requirements:
- Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree or RN Diploma required
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
- Licensure: Current TN or Multi-State RN licensure
- Minimum Work Experience: Six months to one year experience as RN
