Requirements
Essential Functions
With or without reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities, the essential functions of this position include:
- Processing and entering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Assisting the AP team with daily banking activities
- Preparing and analyzing company expenditures
- Auditing, reviewing, and processing credit card transactions
- Recording and reconciling general ledger entries
- Developing and verifying spreadsheet reports to support financial decision-making
- Preparing accruals, managing disbursement requests, and reconciling accounts
- Recommending and supporting process improvements in accounting operations
- Providing data and responding to inquiries from stakeholders and auditors
- Conducting financial research and interpreting data
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of all financial information
- Staying current on accounting trends through continuing education and professional networking
- Supporting the overall mission of Hill Brothers by completing additional accounting tasks as assigned
- Adhering to regular attendance and compliance with all company policies
What You’ll Bring
Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in diverse accounting functions
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel experience required)
- Experience with TMW, TMT, TransFlo, and Great Plains is a plus
