The Role – Senior Yacht Manager
The Senior Yacht Manager is a central point of contact for vessel operations and is responsible for ensuring excellent service is delivered to Captains and Owners in the US fleet. The Senior Yacht Manager is a senior member in the US Operations department, monitoring productivity and excellence of service from the Yacht Managers, Yacht Accountants and Crew Services, collaborating closely with the President and Executive Assistant. Your role will include, but not limited to:
· Participate in the implementation of Group-wide projects ensuring these are correctly executed in the US offices
· Devise and implement integrated Client Service Team concept to deliver improved efficiency, quality, and Client service
· Maintain robust compliance processes in the US, ensuring adherence to national and international maritime regulations
· Develop a meeting structure within US Operations to ensure that key projects and deliverables are reviewed and updated regularly with the senior management team
· Liaising with Head of Yacht Management in Antibes and working with Head of Group Ops Systems to ensure that processes are consistent
· Support President with promotion and development with new and existing customers
What experience does a Senior Yacht Manager need to have?
· Demonstrable experience of building and leading a cohesive and high performing team
· Sound understanding of the complexities of the yacht management and technical services environment, including compliance processes
· Excellent organizational, project management, team leadership skills
· Understanding of yacht finances and accounts
· Fully competent with compliance
