Server - Must be able to stay through October 1
We are looking for experienced servers but are also willing to train someone with an outgoing and coachable personality. Must be available to work consistently, have a positive attitude and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to meet customer needs and exceed their expectations, even when under pressure. Must be 19 years of age.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Welcoming diners and informing them of the day’s specials/events
Taking customers’ food and drink orders
Communicating with the kitchen and bar staff promptly and clearly for correct delivery of orders
Memorizing all menus and recommending appetizers, meals and drinks as well as providing guidance on wine selection from our list
Carrying trays and delivering ordered items to correct tables/customers
Delivering memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly and going above and beyond to create a unique experience
Assisting with the bussing of tables and keeping the dining area neat, clean and pleasant
Resetting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
Completing side work such as: polishing silverware, polishing glassware, folding linen, regular cleaning of beverage machines, preparing side sauces, cleaning of server areas etc.
Cash handling

Expediter
Must be able to carry heavy trays and go up and down stairs while running food to tables within the bar and lounge area, dining room and on the outdoor deck. Must stay calm under fast-paced conditions and stay very organized.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Communicating effectively and efficiently with both serving staff and kitchen about modifications, allergies, special requests, etc.
Communicating with host staff about pacing orders to ensure a wonderful guest experience
Maintaining a clean and sanitary area
Abiding by food handling safety procedures and laws, and achieve food handler safety certification during orientation
Preparing garnishes for dishes, side sauces, and ensure proper rotation
Ensuring that dishes are made with correct specifications and that plates are clean and pleasantly presented
Delivering items to correct tables and customers
Memorizing the menus to ensure dishes are prepared correctly
Communicating to front of house staff and management items that are out of stock so that customers are notified

Host/Busser
Assist the servers in creating the dining experience. Must have a positive attitude and demeanor, as often you are the first person that the customer interacts with in the restaurant. Position requires basic knowledge of kitchen operations with an emphasis on speed and cleanliness. Primary duties are to ensure guest satisfaction and to assist your serving staff. Requires outgoing personality, strong communication skills and work well with others
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Seating guests in correct sections based upon the server rotation
Delivering menus, silver ware and watering tables
Creating and maintaining waitlists for seating if necessary
Memorizing specials, events, and general resort knowledge to answer guest questions
Rotating seating to ensure even distribution of tables to serving staff
Clearing plates and clearing tables when guests have left
Executing correct cleaning procedure of tables to ensure sanitation for guests
Resetting tables quickly so that another group may be seated
Communicating with expeditor staff and management about pacing seating to ensure a wonderful guest experience without long food wait times
Maintaining a clean and sanitary area
Assisting in the delivery of items to correct tables and customers
Assisting in rearranging tables to accommodate larger groups and setting up special events
