Residential Based SCL Program Coordinator

Position: Full-TimeSchedule: Full-Time Exempt, Salaried Position

• Office hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed)
• On-Call Rotation: Required
• Includes weekends, some evenings, and some holidays.
  
  

Responsibilities: -Lead and supervise a team of RBSCL Direct Support Professionals (RBSCL DSPs).-Mentor, train, and foster team cohesion.-Collaborate with case managers and clients to ensure exceptional care and support.-Contribute to strategic business direction under the guidance of the department director.Requirements:- Free from a conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.- Be at least 18 years of age.- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university in social work, human services or a related field. - Prior experience working with children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.- Valid driver's license, proof of personal vehicle insurance meeting agency policy, ability to be approved as an agency driver.- Complete required initial and on-going training as identified in Iowa Administrative Code and agency training policies.
