SUMMARY:
The Advanced Practice Provider delivers professional medical assessment and care to the patients of EHHC Orthopedics and Hilo Medical Center. The provider is responsible for coordinating and rendering professional medical advice and making decisions on evaluations, diagnoses, rehabilitation, referral and treatment services of such patients. Position expectations include, but are not limited to: hospital rounding, pre-op work-up, post-op care and intraoperative support, being available for your surgeon when needed after hours.

Medical Examination RequirementOffers of employment will be contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment examination, which includes drug screen and other regulatory medical requirements such as, but not limited to, a tuberculosis (TB) screen. The cost for drug screening and blood draw for QuantiFERON and Titers, shall be borne by the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation.
Shift DetailsMust be available to work shifts, weekends and holidays as necessary based on hospital operations. Services are provided 24/7.
