What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Captain position at Hilton Garden Inn Midtown?
Hilton Garden Inn is looking for a guest focused person to join our Food and Beverage team. The property is new and sits inside Evanston, next to Xavier. We are team focused and have a positive culture. Here is a list of duties the Banquet Captain will be responsible for.
1. Ensure service standards are upheld with team which you would lead.
2. Attention to detail in room set, service of event, and billing.
3. Execute information off of BEO from sales department.
4. Work with clients to meet and exceed expectations.
5. Prepare banquet billing.
6. Hold preshift meeting to prepare staff.
7. Work closely with kitchen and make sure food safety is being followed.
8. Requestion and monitor alcohol safety is being followed.
9. All deadlines and timing for each event is met.
10. own the goodbye in the end and ensure a quality experience.
Salary : $6 - $12
