Summary

We are seeking a Banquet Manager to join our dynamic team at Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring that events run smoothly and exceed guest expectations. Your leadership will be key in creating memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all banquet operations, including planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
  • Lead and train the banquet team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and manage budgets for banquet events while controlling costs.
  • Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed for events.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food service operations.
  • Work closely with clients to plan and execute their event requirements to ensure their vision is brought to life.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in banquet management or similar roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and staff alike.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food service operations and health regulations.
  • A passion for creating memorable experiences
  • Can pass a background and drug test
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of F&B service standards

Compensation: Enjoy a competitive hourly wage for a minimum of 40 hours per week, plus gratuity from banquets that increase your wage. **Gratuity varies based on the events booked, offering even more potential for increased pay**
