What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at Hilton Garden Inn?
The Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth is looking for it's next shining star! The position we have available is Full-Time Front Desk Agent. The schedule required Wednesday through Sunday 3:00pm-11:00pm.
We are looking for friendly, people-oriented individuals who appreciate exceptional customer service, can think on their feet and like a busy, fast-paced job. Multi-tasking is a must at our hotel and we need people who "get" they are our guests' first impression. We are all about providing every guest an exceptional and memorable stay that begins with their check in experience. Our fantastic front office team currently has a full time position available.
BASIC PURPOSE: Audit, balance and report on the various areas of the hotel (e.g. food & beverage outlets, rooms/front desk, etc.) to provide accurate, timely information and to ensure Best Western's policies and procedures are followed.
FUNCTIONS: Perform Front Desk agent duties which include but not limited to, reservation settlements (check-in and check-out), take care of guests based on requested preferences, taking and placing wake-up calls, room service orders, room reservations, etc. Perform the duties of a bell person as requested.
Requirements: A winning attitude is the most important requirement. Previous customer service and cash handling skills preferred as well as the ability to working independently.
Other Knowledge and Skills: Education: High School Education or equivalent experience.
Experience: Hotel/Accounting background preferred, but not required.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate a computer, cash register and calculator. Ability to compile facts and figures. Telephone and guest relations etiquette and skills.
