- Analyze and summarize financial and statistical data and provide recommendations on process improvements, benefit program utilization and compliance policies
- Assist with projects including data research, benchmarking, program analysis, timeline development, and coordination of inquiries from key stakeholders and vendor partners
- Eliminate redundancies by creating automated applications, eliminating duplication and coordinating information requests
- Support ongoing day-to-day administration of health and welfare and retirement employee benefit plans
- Analyze data and reports to identify and resolve data discrepancies and determine root cause
- Conduct scheduled audits to ensure proper enrollment, eligibility and payment of health care premiums and retirement plan contributions
- Facilitate benefits webinars as needed
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for quarterly SOX audits, HCM updates and annual enrollment configurations
- Assist in all aspects of Annual Enrollment preparation (communications reviews, training, possible on-site support)
- Develop and maintain process maps and policies and procedures, assist with data audits and compare and resolve discrepancies and determine root cause in collaboration with the HRIS team and benefit platform workflow teams
- Assist with special projects when needed related to health and welfare benefits, wellness, relocation and work/life
- Responds to census data requests
- Complete benefits surveys and benchmarking reports
- Develops and manage Oracle reports and queries
- Review workflows from Total Benefits Administration (TBA) system and make the appropriate data corrections in HR systems.
- Process manual updates received from HR Systems and HRX
- Collaborate with Benefits Team to accomplish overall department goals and objectives
- Provide budget analysis and costing projections for benefit programs
- Broad knowledge administering health and welfare benefits
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong computer skills and aptitude toward system processing
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline constraints
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to use computer software, analyze data and produce reports
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, external regulations, and laws
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and look for continuous improvements
- Ability to learn and implement new processes and software quickly
- Effective communication with strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of integrity
