What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/ Adoption Facilitator position at Hilton Head Humane?
Hilton Head Humane is looking for a few individuals who would like to be a part of finding animals their forever homes! Our adoption facilitators play a huge role as they are the ones who get to pair our animals up with families and make sure there is a good fit all around. If you are:

We are looking to fill both full-time and part-time positions and you must be flexible as some weekends will be required. We have 2 campuses available with open positions for both full time and part time:
Hilton Head Island campus (10 Humane way. HHI,SC 29926)
Okatie Campus (10 Pritcher Point Rd. Okatie, SC 29909)
Part-time requires on average 3 days a week and offers $16/hr.
Full-time requires a 40/hr work week and offers $34,000/yr. salary plus benefits

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors at the adoption center, providing information about available animals.
- Handle and care for animals, ensuring their safety and comfort during interactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and animal facilities.
- Assist with adoption paperwork and educate potential adopters on pet care.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to address any health concerns of the animals.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
