Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, is a 349-room property Tuscan-inspired resort. A tranquil retreat just 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and 17 minutes from McCarran Airport, the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa is a relaxing change from The Strip. Located adjacent to the Village at Lake Las Vegas which features several restaurants, marina, and extensive on-lake activities. With the opening of the Lake Las Vegas Event Center we now offer a total of 115,000 sq. ft. of flexible indoor/outdoor space where you can host a meeting or celebration in our serene environment. The Hilton Resort at Lake Las Vegas is all part of a 3,600-acre master-planned community surrounded by luxurious homes two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses and 80 miles of hiking/biking trails as well as home to the largest spa at 30,000 sq. ft.

The general manager is responsible for excellence in overall daily hotel operations in compliance with all corporate & brand standards. Oversees the activities of all departments including hotel Rooms Operations, Food & Beverage, Sales & Catering, Accounting, Human Resources, Security, Valet, and the Ravella Spa. Maximizes profitability, positive financial performance, Profit Margins and NOI. Proven leadership achievement in guest service SALT/GSI scores, team member satisfaction, QA inspections, and service excellence. Implements and oversees the daily quality process on a consistent and continuous basis. Communicates with hotel owners and corporate offices, as required in all aspects. Ensures the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives. Oversees all administrative duties, service training, and HR needs of the hotel. Must be hands-on daily with high standards, energetic, on the floor, and walks the talk. Attention to detail is a must. Flexible schedule and many weekends required. Strong leader, fair and balanced, team player, coach/mentor, supportive, and sets the example daily. Ability to forecast business and revenue levels, monitor and control labor and expenses, implement strategies to achieve and exceed budget goals.
Job Requirements

> A four (4) year degree preferred, and/or equivalent higher education with hotel experience
> A minimum of five (5) years as a GM in a full service hotel with a reputable management company.
> A minimum of two (2) years Hilton Brand experience highly preferred including Revenue Management.
> A minimum of two (2) years experience in a high volume group based hotel.
> Extensive knowledge of hotel operations, sales & marketing, group & conference sales, food & beverage, human resources and hotel financial processes and analysis.
> Proficiency in revenue management and strategies
> F&B revenue generation and cost control experience
> Experience at a property of two-hundred fifty (250) rooms or more required, high volume asset.
> Ability to effectively deal with senior executives, major accounts, frequent corporate travelers, team members, vendors, and community associations, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy. Including community involvement, public relations, special event promotions, and HOA membership.
> Experience managing a property with $8 million in revenue or more is strongly preferred.
> Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing EEO and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations.
> Ability to recruit quality individuals to build a team culture of "service excellence."
> National Sales and Local Market knowledge a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
