Position Purpose: To prepare sushi with precision and creativity. Responsible for ensuring high quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen while providing excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare sushi according to the recipes and Hilton Standards.
• Handle and prepare raw fish and other seafood with attention to freshness and quality.
• Create visually appealing and delicious rolls for our guest while being innovated and staying up to the latest trends.
• Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation standards.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.

• Interact with customers, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations.

• Work collaboratively with the staff to ensure efficient operations and timely service.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

      Education:

      Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

      Experience:

      Previous sushi cook experience preferred.

      Grooming:

      All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available)
