Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience using spray guns for painting vehicles, mining equipment, or other industrial surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Operate spray guns and other painting equipment to apply paint, coatings, and finishes.
- Ensure even application and proper thickness of coatings for durability and appearance.
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups as necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of protective equipment.
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and workspace cleanliness.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an industrial painter, automotive painter, or similar role.
- Proficiency in using spray guns for painting industrial equipment, vehicles, or machinery.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and varying temperatures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience painting heavy equipment, mining machinery, or automotive parts.
- Knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and application techniques.
