Job description :
Recruiting : Assist with recruitment, advising managers on candidate selection, new employee orientation, process improvements.
Employee Relations Management : Collaborates with managers to coach, discipline, and resolve employee issues, including grievances; provides counseling to both employees and managers to address concerns and foster a positive work environment.
Legal Compliance : Ensures adherence to applicable federal and state employment laws, occupational safety regulations, and monitors changes in regulatory requirements.
Record Keeping : Maintains and updates accurate physical and electronic records related to HR, Payroll, OSHA / Safety, SDS, and training.
Confidentiality : Safeguards HR and payroll operations by maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Employee Communication : Provides employees with clear information regarding company policies, working conditions, wages, and benefits.
Benefits Administration : Manages employee benefits programs, building strong relationships with benefits providers and vendors to ensure smooth administration and support.
Employee Engagement : Develops and oversees special projects related to employee activities and recognition programs, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Safety Programs : Creates and implements safety policies, procedures, and training materials to ensure workplace safety standards are met; conducts periodic safety reviews with employees to assess progress.
Accident Investigation and Reporting : Investigates workplace accidents, analyzes injury trends, and coordinates corrective actions; manages incident reports and workers’ compensation claims.
Training and Development : Supports the Director of Organizational Development (OD) in identifying core competencies within job descriptions and assessing employee training needs; facilitates learning opportunities using various methods and develops relevant training materials (manuals, handbooks, etc.). Reviews training programs to ensure content is appropriate and aligned with organizational goals.
Front Desk Support : Serves as the backup for front desk operations, providing administrative support as needed.
Requirements :
Bilingual : Spanish / English
Must have (2) years as a recent Human Resources Generalist.
Experienced with employee relations and recruitment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required.
Drug screening required.
Credit check required.
