Director of Value Based Care Market Operations
This position is with one of the largest multi-specialty physician groups in the country. It is Chicagoland based and also one of the fastest growing networks in the US. The Director of VBC market ops partners with physicians and office staff to ensure success in Value-Based Care (VBC) programs, aiming to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will drive operational improvements, support change management, and promote a culture of continuous growth within healthcare settings while reporting to the SVP of VBC.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with physicians and office teams to drive engagement and achieve success in Value-Based Care (VBC) programs.
- Develop and oversee initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.
- Collaborate with VBC and Fee-for-Service teams to identify clinic needs, promote innovation, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead the execution of projects and programs, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Provide training and coaching to physicians and staff on the use of VBC tools, care management practices, and the integration of new workflows.
- Analyze performance data with clinical teams, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and share key performance indicators (KPIs) for informed decision-making.
Requirements
Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or a Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare or value-based care with a proven record of operational success.
- Demonstrated experience working with physicians and clinical staff to implement healthcare initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of leading projects to successful completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
- Solid understanding of value-based care concepts, healthcare operations, and industry regulations.
Skills: High proficiency in critical thinking, leadership, adaptability, and creativity. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
