Operating in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment, the business has completed five acquisitions and has more than doubled its revenue since the original platform investment.
Position :
The VP of Corporate Development will lead key aspects of the company's acquisition and investment strategy, working closely with senior leadership to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic transactions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in M&A within industrial manufacturing, with a strong preference for candidates with prior experience in flow control, fluid management, or related sectors. Prior experience in Private Equity and Investment Banking is not required.
This role requires an individual who is comfortable navigating complex acquisition processes, including market analysis, due diligence, valuation modeling, and deal structuring. The VP of Corporate Development will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory and ensuring the smooth integration of acquired businesses.
Key Responsibilities :
M&A Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a disciplined, objective, and structured approach to identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential acquisition targets within sanitary flow control end markets.
- Source opportunities through proprietary relationships, industry conferences, investment banks, private equity firms, and other intermediaries.
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessments to support deal structuring and strategic decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional due diligence efforts, coordinating finance, operations, legal, and external advisors.
- Serve as the primary liaison with target companies, guiding sellers—especially founder-led businesses—through the transaction process.
- Negotiate purchase agreements, deal structures, and key terms in collaboration with executive leadership and legal counsel.
